Paola Profeta

Paola Profeta is Full Professor of Public Economics at Bocconi University, director of the AXA Research Lab on Gender Equality and scientific advisor of Unicredit Foundation. She is also the Director of the Master of Science of Politics and Public Policy at Bocconi, member of the board of management of the International Institute of Public Finance and of the editorial board of several academic journals. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a BA in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University. Her research focuses on public economics, political economics and gender economics. She has published in leading academic journals. In 2020 she published the book “Gender Equality and Public Policy. Measuring progress in Europe” by Cambridge University Press translated into Italian by Egea.
